Tips

• Pam cooking spray will dry finger nail polish

• Sunburn - Empty a large jar of Nestea instant iced tea powder into your bath water and soak in it

• Minor burn - Collage or Crest toothpaste

• Burn your tongue - Put sugar on it

• Bee stings - Meat tenderizer

• Kool aid to clean dishwasher pipes - Just put into the detergent section of your automatic dishwasher and run a cycle. It will also clean your toilet

Peanut butter will get scratches out of CD’s Wipe off with a coffee filter

• Peanut butter will remove ink from the face of dolls

• Kool aid can be used as a dye in paint

• Kool aid in Dannon plain yogurt as a finger paint - your kids love it and it won't hurt them if they eat it

• Pam will also remove paint and grease from your hands


• Wine stains - pour on table salt and watch the stain absorb into the salt

• Crayon on the wall -Collegate toothpaste and brush it

• Dirty grout - Use Listerine

• Grass stains - Karo Syrup

• Grease stains - Coca Cola, it will also remove grease stains from the driveway overnight, remove corrosion from batteries and will loosen rust-frozen pipe joints

When cleaning your aquarium don't discard the water, use it on your plants. It makes an excellent fertilizer

A raw egg dropped on the floor is easier to clean up if you sprinkle it with salt before using a paper towel to wipe it up.

• To clean artificial flowers, place them in a bag with salt and shake.

• After cleaning your windows with those new glass wipe sheets, rub them over your window screens. The dirt comes right off without having to remove the screens.

• Drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately

• Collegate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns

• For a sore throat mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria
